6.3 - Manual dimension presetting (Use only in particular cases or for test)

- Set the distance “a” of the barycentre of the inside correction

weight

- It is essential that you determine and set accurately the distance

‘b’ between the barycentres of the weights where they will be

applied.

- Set the nominal diameter ‘d’ as shown on the tyre.

6.3.1 - Using the extension for the distance gauge

▪ Fit the extension on the distance gauge

▪ Proceed with measuring the distance as described in Fig. 7

▪ Having read value “a” on the dial, reset the gauge to “0” and manually set the value “a + 100 mm“

▪ Manually set the diameter and the width, as already described.
